The Gonville and Caius May Ball Committee are excited to announce the headline acts for this year's event. An urban influence runs through the bookings with contrasting styles, rising stars and heavy hitters represented. The acts for 2016 are Shura, Loyle Carner and Nero.
Shura and Loyle Carner have both been nominated for the BBC Sound of 2015 and 2016 respectively. The former, hovering somewhere around electronica, R&B and pop, is both singer/songwriter and producer. She is about to release her debut album “Nothing’s Real,” featuring the hit single “Touch,” recently remixed by Four Tet.
